Amanda Fontaine

My name is Amanda Fontaine and I am a new arrival to FCSS and to the Coaldale area. I grew up on a farm in rural Manitoba and spent the first ten years of my social work career in Regina, SK - a prairie girl through and through!
My training includes a Bachelor of Social Work degree through the University of Regina, a Master of Social Work degree from Dalhousie University, as well as additional training in Narrative Therapy, Attachment-Based Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness, and the Expressive Arts. I have experience supporting individuals facing a wide variety of issues including but not limited to trauma recovery, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, family violence, life transitions, relationship stressors and grief processes.

Amanda is currently accepting clients age 6 and up.
